WHAT TO EXPECT
The initial session is comprised of having a detailed talk about your medical history, current issues and areas that you want to focus on, utilizing diagnostic tools such as pulse taking and tongue diagnosis, and performing any needed orthopedic tests. We will then discuss a treatment plan, which will be started in that session. The session is an hour and a half. Follow-up treatments are an hour and will include a consultation, diagnostics, and treatment.
Acupuncture utilizes hair fine stainless steel sterile needles which are inserted into specific places of the body to impart a therapeutic reaction. The result of treatment is usually multifold, having a pain reducing and alleviating function, yet also boosting, calming and regulating effect on all the functions of the working body and mind.
